My Reading Journey (New Blog Page Addition)

As technology is more accessible than ever, there could be a temptation to read less, or at least to not read printed books. Although there are many different ways to take in content, I’m rather old school. I still bring my printed Bible to church and I also prefer to buy books.

The main reason for doing this is that I get distracted with technology and I’m also a visual learner. I like to take notes on my pages and save printed resources to refer back to later. It’s also cool to see my library grow! However, everyone is different and prefers different methods of reading. The important thing though, is that we are stewarding our time well and filling our minds with content that is healthy for us. This also relates to how much of certain content we take in, which I definitely struggle with! Obviously, Scripture and Christ-centered content is of upmost importance for the Christ follower, but also reading books about leadership, family, hobbies, biographies and fiction stories can be fun and helpful.

With that being said, I’ve added a new page to my blog site about my reading journey. I will keep this updated with a list of my favorite books and also have a link to my Goodreads page where you can see all the books that interest me. Also, if you have any reading suggestions to pass along, please do.

Happy reading to you!
