Mental Health & The Church Conference

I want to invite you to the Mental Health & The Church Conference happening on June 6-7 in River Ridge, LA! I am a part of the leadership team for this conference, along with several others from different backgrounds and occupations and I know God is going to use it to make a great impact.

This conference is for anyone who cares for others, whether you are a counselor, pastor, teacher, social worker, chaplain, doctor, nurse or anything else! Honestly, anyone and everyone can benefit from this conference. We will be discussing the topic of caring for both our inner and outer lives, from a Christian perspective.

Here is a description from the conference website on the goal for this time together:

You are not alone.

Caring for the souls of others is hard, y’all.

Whether you are a pastor at a local church or a believer working in the “real world,” it’s easy to feel isolated and alone. Often we forget that we are a part of a grand narrative; we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

Our goal is to remind you that the body of Christ is at work. Quite literally – the body is at work in restaurants, law offices, in entertainment, and in private counseling rooms. You stand in line with many faithful men and women who have come before you and you are surrounded by many faithful men and women who are beside you even now.

Will you consider registering for this? We would love to have you in person, but there is also an online option if that works better for you.
